THE LION OF ZION
PART 3
“THIS IS THE YEAR THAT I WILL ROAR”

I saw a deep, wide ravine with an old fashioned cable, swinging rope bridge going over it. This is the kind of bridge one imagines is found in the Orient. The bridge was moving about violently, almost as if a mighty force was shaking it. Soon the shaking ended, and my favorite LION appeared beside the bridge, levitated in the air.
I heard the urgent words:
COME! COME QUICKLY!
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY!
COME! COME QUICKLY!
I looked at the bridge and felt great trepidation. The ravine was very wide and very deep. The bridge was in excellent repair. The wood boards were all solid. The handles were strong metal cables, as thick as my thumb. I found myself asking, “What is this bridge. What are the boards? Is it safe?”
I heard the LION speak::
THE STEPS ARE ‘MY WORD’.
THE HANDLES ARE ‘MY FAITHFUL PROMISES’.
COME. COME QUICKLY!
I began to walk across the bridge, each step slow and deliberate. I found myself looking down. It was a fearful sight. The river was hundreds of feet below me. The sides of the canyon were jagged and sharp.
DON’T LOOK DOWN.
DON’T LOOK BACK! The LION stated.
THE ONLY WAY TO GET TO A NEW PLACE IS TO LEAVE THE PLACE YOU ARE AT BEHIND.
COME! COME QUICKLY!
I stopped looking down and began to stride more confidently across the bridge, grasping tightly to the two metal cables, which acted as handles. I found my fear dissipating as I got closer and closer to the other side. I could feel movement on the bridge, and turned around to see what was causing it to sway. I saw another person beginning their walk, and many, many more lined up behind him, waiting their turn to cross. There was an urgency to the movement. I knew that we needed to get across to the lush, tropical garden on the other side. I felt that there was no time to delay.
As my feet finally contacted solid ground, I felt a sense of great exhalation and joy. There was an angelic someone on the other side to greet me and the others, and I gave him a great big hug. He pointed towards a huge waterfall, and laughingly suggested that I might want to go and stand under the GLORY FALL. I ran, and thrust myself under the GLORY FALL. It was not water as we know it, rather liquid light, unlike anything I have ever experienced. (Please see my dream following this vision.) I was so happy and filled with joy that I felt that I would pop!
Soon others joined me and we frolicked under the GLORY FALL.
Then I heard two loud booms, like artillery or cannons or bombs coming from a distance. I left the GLORY FALL to investigate. I saw puffs of smoke on the other side of the gorge, and heard loud armaments. The LION was now pacing in front of the swinging bridge, guarding the garden entrance from any HE did not want to enter. HE was frightening and powerful and very much the King of the Garden. He spoke:
I WILL NOT LET THE PROFANE ENTER INTO WHAT IS HOLY.
I WILL NOT ALLOW WHAT IS HOLY TO BE PROFANED.
I heard soft voices whispering: “Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh! Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh!” (Holy, Holy, Holy! Holy, Holy, Holy!) The air was filled with the splashing sounds of the GLORY FALL, and the soft whispers of “Kadosh. Kadosh. Kadosh.” The whispers were like a gentle breeze, dancing through the tropical plant life. “Kadosh. Kadosh. Kadosh.”
The air was silky soft, yet electric and filled with joy and life. I felt so alive!
Soon I noticed that the LION was no longer guarding the entrance to the Garden. Where He had stood were two giant angels with flashing swords. “Just like in the Garden of Eden.” I thought.
The LION was now once again levitated in the air beside the bridge, frightening away any that did not know Him. The only ones who dared flee the sounds of battle and cross the bridge were those who were well acquainted with the LION. To them, He was their friend.
The LION turned His head and spoke to me as I marveled at the two angels with flashing swords.
I NEVER TOLD YOU NOT TO EAT OF THE TREE OF LIFE.
I AM THE TREE OF LIFE.
DIDN’T I TELL YOU I HAD COME TO BRING YOU LIFE, AND THAT MORE ABUNDANTLY?
All around me the Garden was vibrant and alive with the soft whispered sounds of “Kadosh! Kadosh! Kadosh!”
Then the Lion joined the two angels and spoke.
THIS IS THE YEAR THAT I WILL ROAR.
He opened His mouth and roared, and the sound of His roar shook the ground and the garden and the land across the gorge.
I was so glad I had heeded His voice and come quickly across the bridge into the Garden where his GLORY FELL! I was so grateful I had obeyed His call to come away to the other side, and to leave what was familiar and comfortable behind!
