LION OF ZION # 21
THE SEEING EYE LION
By Rosie Lovejoy

This vision occurred during extended Praise and Worship at the Church I attend. It had been a difficult three weeks in Real Estate. I had spent no time or even much thought on the LORD. I was exhausted, burnt out, and desperately needing HIM.
I saw myself in a long flowing dress with a colorful blindfold covering my eyes. I was holding a white cane in my right hand. My left hand was attached to a handle, like seeing-eye dogs wear, and the blind among us hold onto. The handle was not attached to a seeing-eye dog, rather it was attached to my LION!
As I watched, I was dumbfounded to see myself walking haltingly, holding onto the handle with my left hand, and using the white cane to feel my way with the other hand.
The LION walked very slowly, mindful that HE was leading someone (me!) who was blind and totally reliant on HIM.
I was so humbled by the scene as I watched myself stumble and trip as I tried to move forward, with my white cane and LION.
Then the LION spoke.
THIS IS YOUR TRUE CONDITION.
YOU HAVE BECOME BLINDED BY CARES OF THE WORLD.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
THIS IS THE CONDITION OF MANY OF MY CHILDREN.
YOU THINK YOU SEE, BUT YOU ARE REALLY BLIND.
Then HE continued to walk with me, as I stumbled and held on for dear life.
Then the vision faded gently away.

LION OF ZION # 22
WAITING WITH THE LION
By Rosie Lovejoy
May 22, 2005
I was standing on a high, windswept plain. There were early summer grasses with lush heads of seeds at my feet. A few wildflowers were dotted among the grasses. The wind was gently blowing, a crisp wind like one finds in high places. It felt like early summer mountain winds, above tree line winds. The smells were those of the mountains, too. There were no trees in sight, only grasses and flowers and mountain breezes.
I was wearing the same long flowing dress I had worn in LION OF ZION # 21. My left hand was holding onto the handle of a halter that was worn by my favorite LION. The only difference between this vision and my last vision, was that this time I had no blindfold, and my right hand was free of the white cane.
The LION was striding, and I was holding onto the handle as tightly as I was able. I did not, under any circumstances, want to lose hold of my LION. So I was jogging along side HIM, holding tightly.
Up ahead a beautiful light appeared. It was golden, and softly shimmering. It appeared that the LION was striding towards this light.
An intense desire rose up within me to drop hold of the halter and run into the light. I knew that this is what I would have done before last week’s vision. This time I was not going to let go!!!! I WAS NOT GOING TO GO FORWARD ON MY OWN IN MY OWN STRENGTH! NOT WITHOUT MY LION! NO WAY!!!!!
When we were about 100 feet away, the LION laid down and began to clean HIMSELF.
I couldn’t believe it! We were so close to the light, and HE was licking HIMSELF, cleaning HIMSELF!! I watched the light. I longed for the LIGHT! But I did not leave HIS side.
I sat down beside HIM, my eyes watching the light. It became more and more brilliant as it slowly began moving towards us. My LION continued to groom HIMSELF as the light approached. When the light was about 30 feet from us, it halted.
My gaze roamed from the LION to the light, back and forth, back and forth. The LION finished grooming HIMSELF, stretched and laid down to rest. And so I did what any reasonable lover of the LION would do, I reclined against my friend, and waited with HIM.
